Samuel Bickett has created a short survey to document the DED program’s impact on Hong Kongers

Hi everyone,

Samuel Bickett, a Hong Kong policy advocate and lawyer based in Washington, D.C., has created a short survey to document the DED program’s impact on Hong Kongers. The recent USCIS guidance on Hong Kong’s DED program has created confusion about work authorization, causing many Hong Kongers to face potential job loss or uncertainty. We are collecting information on how this situation is affecting Hong Kongers in the U.S. to help advocate for clarity from policymakers and highlight its real impact. Your response will help us push for urgent action.

If you are a DED recipient and willing to share, please fill out the survey here:

📢 Reddit Post for More Context:

This survey is anonymous, and we ask that you do not include any legally sensitive information. The goal is to ensure that policymakers recognize the real impact of this situation and push for a resolution as soon as possible. Please feel free to pass these links to other DED recipients in the U.S.
