831四週年我們以「全球制裁 天下圍攻」作主題，希望聚集更多同行者的力量，透過聯署、向本地社區宣傳中共暴行及交流抗爭理念，推動全球制裁不義政權。 是次集會將主力要求英國政府制裁違反《中英聯合聲明》的港共官員。


Birmingham Hongkongerss 誠意邀請大家參與當日呼籲本地人簽署聯署的義工，我們會提供英文資料作參考，如欲參與請PM 與我們聯絡。

如當日天氣良好，現場將加設2019年香港抗爭相片展(特別鳴謝Nottingham Stands With Hong Kong 借出相片)。一如以往多次活動，大會接待處將設有細葉榕人道支援基金 Bonham Tree Aid 捐款箱，如欲支持請自備現金(款項全數交予細葉榕)。

831 Fourth Anniversary Assembly
Call for Global Sanctions against China

Assembly Details:
September 2, 2023 (Saturday)
2 - 4 pm
Birmingham City Center, High Street, B4 7SL (opposite Primark)

To commemorate the 4th anniversary of the August 31 incident, we will join the call for global sanctions against totalitarian China through petitions, publicizing the Chinese Communist Party's atrocities and sharing stories of resistance to the British community, calling on wider support to condemn the unjust regime.

We will call upon the UK Government to sanction any officials and civil servants who are engaging in actions which contribute to breaches of rights and freedoms guaranteed in the “Sino-British Joint Declaration on Hong Kong”, including those who order the arrest and prosecution of pro-democracy activists and journalists.


Volunteer Recruitment: Birmingham Hongkongers is now recruiting volunteers to promote the petition at the assembly. Reference materials in English will be provided on site. If you are interested, please contact Birmingham Hongkongers by messaging this page.

If the weather allows it, there will be a photo exhibition of the 2019 Protests (thanks to Nottingham Stand with Hong Kong for sharing the photos) . As is the case in previous events, there will be a Bonham Tree Aid (細葉榕人道支援基) donation box at the reception counter of the assembly. Cash donations can be made on site to support Bonham Tree Aid.
